The American Transcription Association

Survey 2010

One of our members came up with the (brilliant) suggestion that we poll transcriptionists across the U.S. to find out how they get the job done. For example, do most transcriptionists use software on their computer, or do they use a Transcription Application Service Provider (TASP)? Does it depend on what type of transcription you are doing? Is cost a concern?

Well, we’d like to know — and you probably would too!

Please fill out the following 3-minute survey, and let us know how you do what you do!

Note: this survey is open to everyone, including non-members. If you know of any other transcriptionists who may want to be included in the survey, you can copy and paste this link:

Email it, Tweet it, Blog it — whatever works for you!

Next month we’ll update this survey in our newsletter, and post the results here on our website.
